Terms of Service

You must be at least the minimum age required to use Discord in your country (at least 13, or older where local law requires) and capable of forming a binding contract. You must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times when using the Service.

You access the dashboard by authenticating with Discord. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account and, where you are a server administrator, for how the bot is configured and used in your server, including providing any notices or obtaining any consents required from your members. You are responsible for the security of your Discord account.

Redvora provides moderation, engagement, utility and integration features for Discord servers, configurable through the dashboard. Features may be added, changed or removed over time. Some features are offered only on paid plans or require additional setup, such as running your own custom bot.

You agree not to use the Service to:

violate any law or regulation, or any third-party rights;

abuse, harass, threaten, defame or harm others, or facilitate such conduct;

distribute malware, spam, or unlawful, infringing or harmful content;

circumvent, disable or interfere with the Service’s security or operation, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its systems, or other users’ or tenants’ data;

reverse engineer, decompile or scrape the Service except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by applicable law; or

place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or use the Service to operate a competing product. You must also comply with Discord’s API terms and rate limits.

You may connect your own Discord bot token or third-party API keys (for example, for AI features). You are solely responsible for those bots, tokens and keys, for their compliance with the applicable third party’s terms, and for any costs they incur. We encrypt such secrets at rest and use them only to operate your instance. You may remove them at any time. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use any third-party services you connect.

Certain features require a paid subscription. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor on a recurring basis until cancelled. You authorize us and our processor to charge your selected payment method. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise, and you are responsible for applicable taxes. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and paid features remain available until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing prospectively with notice.

You and your server members retain ownership of the content you submit through the Service. You grant Redvora the limited license needed to host, process and display that content for the purpose of providing the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content and configurations you create and for ensuring they are lawful.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, the Redvora name and logo, and all related intellectual property, are owned by Redvora and its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

The Service interoperates with Discord and may integrate with other third-party platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies. Availability of integrations may change if a third party modifies or discontinues its service.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that data will never be lost. You use the Service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redvora and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Service in the three months preceding the claim, or twenty United States dollars (US$20). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Redvora and its operators from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your content or configurations, your servers, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or where required to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your servers and signing out. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability and indemnification.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws applicable at Redvora’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located there, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
